Hey everyone!
So this first week has been really good. I've Got an awesome companion, Elder Romero. He live like a block away from the MTC which I thought was kinda weird. We have a really good companionship going though. Whenever me and him have companionship study it's like therapy. The spirit is always really strong and on days that I start out feeling discouraged, After Companionship Study I always Feel a lot better. He loves doing impressions of people and its really quite funny sometimes. He's a great guy. me and him I think have the best relationship as companions of anyone in our district.
Our district is split up between 2 sister companions and 2 Elder companions. One of the Sisters in our district is from New Zealand! We have a lot of fun making Lord of the Rings jokes with her. Especially when we have Gym time.

We also Just got another Elder from New zealand (Elder Taleni) who will be in our Zone just yesterday (he arrived a few days early). Since me and Elder Romero are the Zone Leaders we have assimilated him into our group and he's been following us around from classes and lessons we teach and it's been kinda fun to have him although it has changed the Dynamic of our companionship a little bit. He's not as punctual as me and Romero and likes to sleep in a little bit but we're working on it. He was really excited when he found out there was another sister in our district from New Zealand.
The MTC is difficult sometimes. My teacher says I am kind of a perfectionist and tend to be a little hard on myself But that I am actually progressing faster than most of the other Elders and Sisters. I have gained kind of a reputation for being the most organized and punctual Elder in our District. I LOVE THE PLANNER!! haha everybody in our district knows they can rely on me to be able to tell them where we have to go and what time it is at. Me and Elder Romero have been pretty consistently on time with everything. Sometimes just 2 minutes late can stress me out though.
We taught our first role played lesson to our teacher who was playing a girl named Elza yesterday. I thought it went OK but Elder Romero is convinced that we are going to be the next best thing to leave the MTC I think. lol We got her to pray and recieve an answer in our first lesson. The spirit was really strong and it was really cool. Our teacher told us after that In the past year that she has worked here nobody has ever been able to get her to do that in the first lesson. She tends to be a very hard person to teach. Me and Elder Romero are actually the only companionship that chose to teach her in our class. Inb companionship study when we were picking our investigator we decided that we wanted to do the hard things while we were here at the MTC and on our missions. That study with him was something I'll probably never forget. and it was just our first companionship study.
I love you all!! Thank you so much for the letters. Tell dad I am sorry he wrecked his car and that I laughed when I read that. Evan should give him a hard time about it. ;)
I've actually been a little homesick since I got here. and some days its really hard to focus. But i have taken some serious steps to be able to get a better control over it and things have been getting better. I will try to include some pictures but I haven't been able to figure out how to load them onto the computer yet... so we'll see.
I'll talk to you all next week though! You are all awesome and I love you!
