The past few weeks most of the work and miracles me and Elder Hall have seen have been in our own individual lives.
Although we have seen some pretty wonderful Miracles Lately. There are 2 girls that we had been preparing for Baptism for sometime who were baptized a little over a week ago now. They are very sweet and very quiet. They have warmed up to us a lot as we have taught them and we have become good friends with them. I love these girls and this family. :) They were the last ones to be baptized in there family. So it was wonderful to be apart of a baptism that united their whole family in the gospel. This is probably the first baptism this branch has had in a few years so EVERYONE was super excited about it and very eager to help when we started telling that they wanted to be baptized.
Going over their new member lessons has been fun. Me and Elder hall have felt to put an emphasis on the temple. there are a few members in their family that are less active but we hope that they can all get there one day to be sealed together. We love them.
Also! AMITE was put on the map last week! They filmed a portion of the New X men wolverine film right in the center of town! It was cool! We got to get a few pictures of some props. Be looking for these green jeeps when the movie comes out. Im super excited for it. AMITE of all places!
Me and Elder Hall decided to go to a farther reach of our area this last week Called Montpelier. We thought it was a biggish town because of the city limits but it turns out there is only ONE measely neighborhood in the WHOLE town. Montpelier has ONE light going through it and it doesnt even have all the colors. It's just a yellow blinking light.
Amite has a unique country flavor to it. Nobody here is average in any way. The people of this area are all very special. We hear some crazy things on a regular basis and me and Elder Hall get a good laugh out of it sometimes. We're both city folk. So this has a pretty funny appeal to both of us.
I love Elder Hall and I really enjoy serving with him. He has come to be one of my favorite companions. We have both grown and changed so much over the course of our companionship.

Also, we found a turtle that one time near our house. Some of the turtles in Louisiana can get as big as a Basketball! Or a dinner plate!! NUTS!
Still no signs of wild Alligators. Although I look forward to reporting on that some day too.
Had a shrimp boil last week. That was super good. I wanna bring shrimp boils up to Minnesota. The world needs more shrimp boils.
