I feel that feeling that I usually feel right before I get transferred.
Theres not much to report this week. We found a new family to teach yesterday! Had an awesome experience with that. It was a single mom with 3 kids. We brought a member with us and he invited her to church and asked her if she wanted to join his family for FHW in a coming week. She LOVED the idea. She has a beautiful family with 3 of the sweetest 'Churren' (children) ever. The whole time we were there the spirit just felt really warm. She cried as we talked about how the Gospel can help her Family and as Bro V. talked about how it had helped change and shape his. Very powerful experience definitely the highlight this week. We have another appointment with her on Thursday. So we'll invite her to church and see where the spirit takes us!!
The Down Town Elders are moving this week on Thursday so our areas will be changing although my address will stay the same for another week or so. We will be helping them move out and such. Im going to miss them. Ive gotten very close to the Elders that we live with. I consider them good friends. I hope we stay in touch.
Had a unique experience this week where president called me asking about different Missionaries and my opinion on them as leaders. He's never done that before. But I told him what I honestly thought. I think it helped. It made me feel kinda special that he wanted to hear my thoughts.
SO yeah. I love New Orleans. New Orleans is my home. Im pretty sure that It's my favorite area so far. Im going to miss it a whole lot. I still am hanging onto a hope that I might stay though.
Included is a picture of our zone. Which is so dear to my heart. Can you find me!?
