Sounds like things are going well at home. The house dynamic seems to be constantly changing and evolving.
I love getting your emails Dad. You're simplistic way of speaking and thinking is really relaxing. Glad you had fun camping and everything. I kinda miss that Not going to lie. boundary waters and camping north of MPLS is fun.
I'll definitely do a bit of praying for mom. I kinda like her as a mother too. I'm sure things will go ok though.
I miss the Hafens. It was always such a blessing to go and HT them with you. I have realized I learned a lot about the Church and the gospel from your guys examples and the home that I was raised in. I LOVE OUR FAMILY DANGIT! I am SOOOOO happy for Zeke. That kid is going to change some lives. What a great guy. :)
This week me and my companion got to go to the temple! Which was awesome! but it's cutting into our pday considerably. We only have 2 hours to get everything we need done today so I don't have much time to email.
In High school I always kept a book of mormon in my locker that I told myself I would give to someone one day. Alas, I had not many friends outside of our little mormon pod so that never happened. But Maybe keep one in your office and challenge yourself to give it to someone should they ask about your religion or something or you can even read from it if they have questions. Also, Sharing "The Family, A proclamation to the world" or "Jesus the Christ" are great ways for families to share the gospel. It's easy to bear testimony of how awesome our family is and of Christs love for us. that will speak to people through the spirit.
Something I have REALLY gotten into since I've been out is digging through Ensign magazines and cutting out pictures of Jesus on harder days. It helps lift me up and remind me whats what. I've gained a pretty nice collection of pictures now. Maybe hanging pictures of Jesus in the car, or putting a small picture of him on your desk at work could prompt people to ask about your beliefs! Honestly though, Just having it there speaks too. Like that one general authority said last Conference, "preach the Gospel, and when necessary use words." If you want some pass along cards the church makes a pretty awesome variety of cards now. Ask the missionaries and they can get you some for free. There is lots and lots of material we can use to hand out to people that want to know more.
Thanks for teaching me so much. I love you Dad!
Mom too!
Also Ivie!
and that other kid.....
Ryan and Andrew should have a blast!
Love you all!!!!
