I have found that a lot of the times I have felt the spirit so powerfully have been very personal and individual Instances. But You're right. they never really leave your memory. How much of them to share is kind of the key to learn on a case by case basis I believe. I really love being on this high that you speak of. lol
We Don't have Ipads yet. I have no Idea when we'll get them. They've been a rumor for almost 4 years now. Nobody really knows. I might go my whole mission without them.
President is doing well. lol It feels like both him and God have put a lot of trust and faith in me in order to train. Often I dont feel like I'm doing it the 'right way' or that I'm talking too much or trying to expound too much. I don't know how ready I was for this call when I got it. But I still dont feel ready. Training is HARD. haha but it is rewarding at the same time. It's cool to know that Elder Regan will be a missionary that will be a friend to me throughout the duration of my mission. Of all my other companions, 2/4 have already gone home and the 3rd will be going home at my year mark. So having eachothers backs for a good chunk of the rest of this journey will be nice. Elder Regan is getting stronger every day. We've gotten really close. Which makes me happy. Because I was very close to my trainer Elder Castro and I learned more from him than I have any other missionary. So I hope this 12 week experience for Elder Regan will have a similar ring to it as mine did. I'm glad for the friendship we have made in just these 3 weeks together. I hope the rest of theses 9 will be the same if not better. We're good supports for eachother.
All of that said me and him are TOTALLY opposite. Elder Regan is very Extroverted and very expressive. He's really chatty. Which is a trait I guess I have too if you get to know me well enough. He was the Super popular kid in highschool. I was best friends with the Librarian and the Janitors. lol We laugh about the different experiences we had. He's also Vegan. Which has made dinner appointments really interesting. He gets very quiet when the host brings out some kind of meat or eggs. He eats it. But it's really hard for him especially after. He's very quiet on the ride home from dinner appointments. Which is sad because I think it's messing with his experience at members houses. I've always enjoyed visiting members so much! So it's sad to see him missing out on that. I dont know if theres anything I can do... I've been thinking about it alot. What would you do?
Other than that, at home I've been eating really healthy lately (of course it's not to hard when Your living with a vegan.) and I think It's made a difference in my general mood and ability to focus. I've gained a testimony of how important it is to pay attention to what we're putting in us. I've learned how to make a lot more food. Well kinda. The kitchen is still very scary. But Elder Regan owns a vitamix so I've gotten really good at making smoothies! My favorite right now is frozen bananas and Blueberries with just a little bit of coconut water. It 's the easiest one I know and I think it tastes the BEST.
So that's a brief update on Elder Davis. I havent been doing very good at mass email lately because I don't have any pictures because mom's camera hasn't been working lately.
The bikes doing ok. I'll need to replace the rear tire soon because the tread has gotten ridiculously low from a problem that I had with it while I was in Alexandria. Also one of the pedals is broken But we've kinda jimmied that together for now. It should be fine for a bit.
Sorry this ended up so long. I'm counting it as my email home to both you and mom this week. You can read it to The rest of everyone else too if you want. Love yall.
Tell Evan I said to read his Scriptures!! Ivie too!! I'll try and find time to send something back home to all of you one of these days.
I love you.
